NURTW Leadership Meet Up With T&C To Unbanned Union In Oyo State.



The leadership of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Nigeria has said it has met with the conditions given to the body by the Oyo state government to unbanned the Union in Oyo state.

President, National Union of Road Transport Workers, Najeem Usman Yaasin,  disclosed this to the Governor' Office correspondents after a closed-door meeting of the union's leadership, led by the National President, Alhaji Najeem Yasin with Governor Seyi Makinde and factional leaders of the union in the state, Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi, alias 'Auxilliary' and Alhaji Abideen Olajide, popularly known as 'Ejiogbe.' respectively at the Governor's Office, Secretariat, Ibadan.


Alhaji Yaasin appealed to Governor Makinde to unbanned the Union having met with the Terms and Conditions given.


The factional leaders of the union in the state, Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi, alias 'Auxilliary' and Alhaji Abideen Olajide, popularly known as 'Ejiogbe however, pledged their support to the out-come of the meeting and agreed to let the sleeping dog lies.

You will recall that, The Oyo state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde through his chief press secretary, Taiwo Adisa, had on 
14th of June, 2019 maintained that, the ban will not be lifted until they received a favorable security report assuring the government that the storm is over.
