EDUCATION: Over 2,000 student receives educational materials from Nigeria Army, 2 Div Ibadan.



The Nigeria Army again demonstrated importance of rendering help to the needy as well improve on the Army civilian relationship by giving free exercise books to over 2,000 school pupils in four schools in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.



According to Brigadier General Maina Kadai.   Who led the team from the 2 mechanised Division Odogbo, Ibadan said the gesture is to further demonstrate parts of the Nigeria Army corporate social responsibility, towards building a healthier relationship among schools children and also help relieve their parents.



Brigadier General Maina also stated while addressing the children that, beyond celebrating the Army day which comes up on July sixth, it also a way strengthen the believe of the children that they can grow to fulfill their purpose if they work hard.
One of the school head teacher, Mr Oyewole Olugbenga expressed his happiness to the Army for the donation which according to them will bring succour to some of the children that could not afford to buy books.



Two of the Representatives of the children Ibrahim Ishola and Timilehin Olanrewaju thanked the Nigeria Army for the gift. Said, "the gift have change their perception about the men of the army and  now understand the importance of humanitarian and giving back to ones society and some of the them now dream to become an Army officer in the future". They Said. 

The schools that benefited IDC Primary School, Ajobo, St. David Anglican Primary School, Aroro Community High School and Army Day Secondary School. All in Akinyele LG. Each of the student received three Six-leaves of note books
