EXCLUSIVE: COVID-19: Here Is What Turns UCH CMD's Repeated Test To Negative


The Special Assistant to the Chief Medical Director,University College Hospital(UCH, Ibadan, Mr Adekunle Alao has said that fervent prayers and fruit herbs were the notable remedies that facilitated the negative result of CMD's repeat test.

Alao made the disclosure while speaking with Naija Today News barely after some hours that the repeated test of the Chief Medical Director of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo in respect of initially confirmed contacting with corona virus pandemic returned negative.

 In Alao's words, "yes it is a battle fought by God through the UCH members of staff with their fervent prayers" Adding that, "those 8 days of quarantine was not easy for him. He is not used to unorthodox means of treatment but this time around he took vitamins c-1000, chloroquine, fruit herbs such as turmeric, garlic, lemon, unripe pineapple and steamed bathing with it. I thank God not only for him but also for the provost and deputy provost".

He said,"throughout the period he was asymptomatic and very active but he was separated from his family members".

" He directed all his members of staff in his office to go for quarantine with immediate effect".
