COVID-19: Oyo Council Chairman(Olawoyin) Rejoices With Oyo Governor(Makinde) Over Recovery From Corona virus Pandemic

The Caretaker Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Hon.(Dr) Amos Oladele Olawoyin has rejoiced with the Governor of the state, Engr Seyi Makinde over his recovery from the tested negative to second test result to COVID-19 known as coronavirus disease.

Olawoyin said his rejoice with Makinde was consequent upon his recovery from corona virus pandemic ravaging Oyo State, Nigeria, Africa and world at large, stressing that he became the happiest person sequel to latest news of his total recovery from the pandemic.

Olawoyin whose message of felicitation was made available to Naija Today News stressed the message was issued on behalf of all and sundry in Egbeda Local Government.

In his words," I Hon. Dr. Amos Oladele Olawoyin the Caretaker Chairman of Egbeda LG, on behalf of entire management, members of staff, the traditional council, religious & community leaders, PDP chieftains & entire citizens of Egbeda LG rejoice with H.E Engr. Seyi Mankinde as he fully recovered by tested negative to second test result to covid-l9,  may you be healed completely & wax stronger so as to continue to move  Oyo State forward".

 "May the great physician lay His hands of healings on those battling with the pandemic disease called covid-l9". Olawoyin prayed.

 A total of 14,406 poorest of the poor households across 19 local government areas of Oyo State have been captured to receive N7,500 every month under the World Bank Youth Employment and Social Support Operation (YESSO). Makinde To Appoint Adviser On Labour Matters, Negotiate Minimum Wage With Workers

The Oyo State governor-elect, Engr Seyi Makinde has congratulated the Nigerian Labour Congress in Oyo State on this year’s Labour Day and urged them to protect the interest of their members. In a release signed by his spokesperson, Prince Dotun Oyelade, Makinde said it is pertinent for the labour union and government to engage in constant dialogue in a very transparent and sincere manner to move the state forward at the advent of new administration in the state. He further asked them to discourage members from acts of collusion with desperate politicians who are taking advantage of the transitional period in the state. He reassured the union that his administration will be labour friendly and involve them in the day to day running of the administration by creating the office of a Special Adviser on Labour Matters.
