Ex Oyo PDP Organising Secretary, Ayandiran Dies On 75th Birthday

FORMER Organising Secretary, People's Democratic Party (PDP), in Oyo State, Mr Moses Ayandiran is dead.

Ayandiran, a native of Sepeteri in Saki-East Local Government area of Oyo State died on Thursday, 9th April 2020, in his house in Sepeteri during an illness he had been battling with for some time at exactly 12.00am, the day he clocked 75 years.

Ayandiran, a retired teacher was elected a councillor in ward 9 Sepeteri, Saki East Local Government, Oyo State under the platform of PDP between 1999-2003, Organising Secretary of the same party at the state level between 2011-2015, and was until his death a member of the Elders' committee of the party in the local government and Oyo North senatorial district.

He is survived by a wife and children . His remains had been deposited in a morgue.

 A total of 14,406 poorest of the poor households across 19 local government areas of Oyo State have been captured to receive N7,500 every month under the World Bank Youth Employment and Social Support Operation (YESSO). Makinde To Appoint Adviser On Labour Matters, Negotiate Minimum Wage With Workers

The Oyo State governor-elect, Engr Seyi Makinde has congratulated the Nigerian Labour Congress in Oyo State on this year’s Labour Day and urged them to protect the interest of their members. In a release signed by his spokesperson, Prince Dotun Oyelade, Makinde said it is pertinent for the labour union and government to engage in constant dialogue in a very transparent and sincere manner to move the state forward at the advent of new administration in the state. He further asked them to discourage members from acts of collusion with desperate politicians who are taking advantage of the transitional period in the state. He reassured the union that his administration will be labour friendly and involve them in the day to day running of the administration by creating the office of a Special Adviser on Labour Matters.
