Oyo Speaker's Impeachment: We're Not Part Of The Plan Being Spread. We Believe And Trust In Ogundoyin's Leadership — APC Minority Caucus.



Barely 10 hours that the impeachment's rumour of the current Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Adebo Edward Ogundoyin has been trending over the social media, the honourable represent Oyo East/Oyo West and the Whip of minority party All Progressive Congress (APC) in Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Isiaka Kazeem Tunde has debunked the plan which he allegedly described  a  baseless rumour that has no any iota of truth.


Hon Tunde who is All Progressives Congress' (APC) Party Whip in Oyo State House of Assembly has debunked the impeachment rumour, describing it as an act of mischievous collaborators with negative intention to dent the image of the APC Minority Group in the house.


Speaking with Naija TODAY News, Hon Isiaka while fielding questions to the news barely 10 hours after the impeachment rumour of the speaker  had been trending on social media affirmed that Ogundoyin remains the current speaker of the house, adding that APC Minority caucus in the 9th Assembly was not part of the plan being spread on social media.


The APC Whip in the Assembly said that APC Minority Caucus has firm believe and trust in the leadership of the current honourable speaker, warning those whose ascribing APC Lawmakers to such illicit act to henceforth withdraw the defamatory statements capable of denting the image of the opposition parliamentarians.


Hon Tunde said APC Party stood for progressive governance that would bring dividends of democracy to all and sundry in the state, adding that the people of the state need good governance that would positively improve their standards of living.
On corona virus pandemic ravaging Oyo State and Nigeria, Tunde said at this critical time when the pandemic could be easily contracted, stressing that all hands should now be on deck on how the menace would be collectively fought.
