COVID-19: Police IG Orders Arrest Of Destructive Policemen Who Destroy Goods To Enforce Stay-At-Home Order


The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu has ordered the arrest of group of policemen who destroyed goods belonging to a beer parlour owner in order to enforce compliance of stay-at-home order of the Lagos State government.
Nigeria Police Twitter Page (@policeNG) monitored by SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE NEWS, the IGP said, “….Police officers involved in the enforcement of restriction orders and other law enforcement functions must therefore exercise their discretionary powers with utmost sense of professionalism“.

He has therefore directed the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Odumosu H. Olusegun to immediately investigate and commence disciplinary actions against the officers involved.”
