Stop Your Blatant Lies! It Can Not Divides Oyo State Religious Line. — SMMFG Replies Kunle Sanni.

The attention of Seyi Makinde Government for Good Governance (SMMFG) has been drawn to a careless, untrue, unconvincing and very disturbing statement made by one Alhaji Kunle Sanni who is said to be the President of Muslim Community, Oyo State where He claimed that the Oyo State governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde is lopsided in his appointments so far.

The statement is not only a blatant lie and a misrepresentation of what is the obvious truth, it is also a way of heating up the polity and dividing the good people of Oyo State along religious line.

One wonders why a so called Alhaji Kunle Sanni who claims to be a religious leader will choose to deceive, lie and manipulate the people of Oyo State.

It is so unfortunate that a religious leader like Alhaji Kunle Sanni will choose to allow his political affiliations and sentiments becloud his sense of reasoning and thwart his conscience.

It is highly imperative to make it succinctly clear that the governor of Oyo State is not an Anti-Muslim government. Contrary to what Alhaji Kunle Sanni said, there is religious balance in Oyo state.

The deputy governor, Alhaji Rauf Olaniyan is a staunch Muslim, The Chief Of Staff to the Governor, Chief Lukmon Oyebisi Ilaka is a practising Muslim, The Deputy Chief of Staff, Mr. Abdulmojeed Mogbonjubola is a Devoted Muslim, the Head of service, Alhaja(Mrs) Amidat Agboola is also a very good Muslim.

The Commissioners in Oyo State also have more Muslims than Christians and the question one is left to ask Alhaji Kunle Sanni is to tell the public where He got his fake information.

We are not quick to forget the efforts, campaigns and political journeys of Alhaji Kunle Sanni before the last elections.

We remembered how he went to so many towns, villages and communities to campaign for APC and their candidates and also incite the people against Engr. Seyi Makinde.

We know that Alhaji Kunle Sanni has a strong affiliation with the opposition party in Oyo State and we want to inform the general public that the words of Alhaji Kunle Sanni holds no water and should not be counted as important. 

He has become a rolling stone that gathers no moist and a noise making drum with no single substance.

We wish to state categorically that Engr. Seyi Makinde is a lover and respecter of all faiths and religions. He has shown this by sponsoring hundreds of Muslim every year to the Islamic holy pilgrimage. 

Oyo State people will not listen to disruptive and divisive elements whose only joy is to truncate the peace, stability and steady growth we are enjoying in Oyo State.

We enjoin the good people of Oyo State to discard the concocted lies and defamation of Alhaji Kunle Sanni and join hands with Engr. Seyi Makinde to ensure that we build the Oyo State we all desire.

With Engr. Seyi Makinde at the helm of affairs, a better Oyo State is assured.
