BREAKING: Thugs Attack Obaseki, Oba of Lagos at Oshiomhole’s Residence

Suspected thugs have attacked convoy of Governor Godwin Obaseki, Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu and Chairman, Caverton Offshore Support Group, Mr. Aderemi Makanjuola, The Nation reports.

It was gathered that the trio were driving into the Iyamho residence of National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole shortly after attending the first convocation ceremony of the Edo University, Iyamho.
Makanjuola was installed Chancellor of the institution at the ceremony.
Police sources said they were invited for lunch by Oshiomhole but were attacked by suspected thugs.

                      Governor Seyi Makinde  The Nigeria’s Governors Forum (NGF) Secretariat is organising a three-day Induction Programme for newly-elected and returning governors. The programme, according to a statement issued by the NGF Secretariat, will commence from Monday 29th April to 1st May, 2019. Also, a day summit has been scheduled for the wives of the governors as well so as to develop and utilize their platforms to address critical issues affecting their states. Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, on Tuesday, inaugurated the Board of the Oyo State Agency for the Control of AIDS (SACA), noting that dealing with the scourge of AIDS “is of utmost importance to his administration.” Governor Makinde stated that though there had been some progresses with regards to anti-retroviral medication, abstinence from sex remained the best way to control the spread of AIDS.
