The Caretaker Chairman, Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon.(Alh.) Afolabi Saliman Borikansunwon has earmarked some notable projects across the nooks and crannies of the local government that require and due for rehabilitation.
At the end of the inspection of the projects in all the metropolis that took him complete two days, said that the current administration led by him at the local level would immediately see to the rehabilitation of the notable and unavoidable projects across the length and breadth of the local government.

While exhibiting his bitterness, The Council Boss lamented that the 8 years of All Progressives Congress (APC) that was led by Senator Abiola Ajimobi and the previous council chairman had not brought meaningful and developmental projects to the grassroots, stressing that the inspection of projects in Okeho, Ilua, I semi-ile and Imia exposed their atrocities and failure to facilitate the developmental projects to the grassroots which he claimed closer to the rural dwellers.

While enumerating the projects that need urgent rehabilitation,Borikansunwon said his administration would give the prioritized attention to roads, provision of portable water, education, recreational activities and health among others.
In his substantiation, he said having inspected the roads across the length and breadth of the local government, he discovered and acknowledged that 95 percent of roads in the respective communities are in a sorry and deplorable condition, stressing that roads would be among the projects to be given an urgent attention and consideration.

On provision of water, Borikansunwon said that people were not enjoying portable and tasteless water in the communities, stressing that some of the boreholes that were provided by the federal government are no longer functioning as a result of faults which could not be easily repaired by the people.

He added that education was one of the cardinal blueprints of Governor Seyi Makinde, and the only way to reciprocate the gesture to the local government is to ensure that the communities' libraries are rehabilitated and equip with the needed materials that would be useful to the students and other users.

Borikansunwon said that health and recreation activities (viewing centre) would not be left untouched, stressing that the equipment and materials needed at all Primary Health Centres would be adequately provided as he emphasised that the viewing centre at the heart of the town would be repaired soonest.

He urged people to continue to support the current government of Governor Seyi Makinde whom he described as God's sent to Oyo State, pledging that his blueprints would be reciprocated at the grassroots.
Among the party loyalists and stakeholders that accompanied the chairman on inspection tour are the Party Local Chairman(Mr. Johnson Ojebiyi), Alh. Adele Musodiq, Alh.Azeez Ogundijo, Mr. Muniru Salau, Hon. Ajadi, Mr. Wasiu Tijani, women leaders, youths and host of others.
