In their  bitter reactions, Emmanuel Abioye, a staunch APC Chieftain in Eruwa, Ibarapa geo-polical zone of Oyo State was embittered with the development.

In a phone chat with him, he said despite the fact that the current speaker of the house emerged from Ibarapa does not mean that the zone should be marginalised and sidelined among the leading beneficiaries of the house committees, describing the marginalization as injustice and unfairness, adding that Hon.Debo Ogundoyin was acting the script of the Governor who had hands in his emergence as a speaker.

Emmanuel said the speaker could not consider a chairmanship position of a single committee for his zone, adding that Ogundoyin did everything possible to please Ibadan in order to prevent his subsequent impeachment which could be orchestrated by the honourables from the zone.

Ademola Waheed from Itesiwaju Local Government in Oke-Ogun axis said the composition was an injustice of the highest order, adding that Ibadan alone with 11 Local Governments got and chaired the largest and juicy committees, he said the composition of the standing committees was not evenly and equilibriumly distributed,Waheed challenged the speaker for conceding only seven chairmen to Oke-Ogun despite the fact that it has almost equivalent local governments(10) with Ibadan. He called for justice, equity and fairness over the allocation of the dividends of democracy.

Kehinde Ajulo from Oyo said Oyo as a geo-polical zone was no longer ready to play a second fiddle in the scheme of politics,he said Ibadan would continue to manoeuvre things if other zones failed to come together. He added  that the speaker acted their scripts in order to prevent further contingencies.

Temilade Subuloye, a student of Ladoke Akintola University and  native of Ogbomoso said the scenario in the last election triggered the latest treatment, adding that Ogbomoso would never slack and would continue to demand for its rights and privileges in politics.
While Emiloju Ibrahim, an APC staunch supporter in Ibadan said the time of politics had gone but now is for governance which should not be handled with bitterness and acrimony, saying he is an Ibadan man who cares for balance and equilibrium over the dividends of democracy, adding that there was no gainsaying in the fact that Ibadan had largest and juicy committees.

Ibrahim enjoined the speaker to work in line with fairness, Justice and equity and as well be an upright speaker who does things with no regard to nepotism and favouritism.
