BREAKING: Makinde Wins At Supreme Court

The election of Eng Oluseyi Makinde as the duly elected Governor of Oyo state has been affirmed by the supreme court.

The seven Justices unanimously  uphold the decision of the tribunal which had earlier affirmed Makinde’s victory at the poll

Reacting to the judgement the Deputy Governor Eng Rauf Olaniyan said it is God’s decision because he answered the prayers of Oyo state people

 
He promised that the PDP government will continue to deliver on campaign promises and make people of Oyo state happpy

Monsurat Sunmonu as its leader.   This is just as the group, at a meeting held today In Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, congratulated the governor-elect, Engr Seyi Makinde over his victory at the March 9, 2019 governorship election. Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, on Tuesday, inaugurated the Board of the Oyo State Agency for the Control of AIDS (SACA), noting that dealing with the scourge of AIDS “is of utmost importance to his administration.” Governor Makinde stated that though there had been some progresses with regards to anti-retroviral medication, abstinence from sex remained the best way to control the spread of AIDS. A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, indicated that the Wife of the Governor, Engr. Tamunominini Makinde, chairs the Board, while Dr. Lanre Abass is the Executive Secretary.
