Police Commissioner Boasted That He Has A Score To Settle With Shina Peller – Akin Alabi

Shina Peller’s colleague in the House of Reps, Akin Alabi has accused the Lagos state police commissioner of intentionally arresting the Quilox club owner because he wanted to settle a score with him.

Akin Alabi who was reacting to the arrest of Shina Peller also alleged that police brutally knows no status for illegally arresting Peller when he went to bail his customers and trying to change the narrative by saying that Peller mobilized thugs to invade the police station.

According Akin Alabi, ‘so founder of Quilox and House of Representatives member, Shina Peller  went to bail his customers that were illegally arrested, then the Police at Maroko police station detained him as well. Police brutality knows no status’.

He went on to say, “we are on our way to Panti. First of all, the cars of the customers were towed and seized for violating traffic. FINE. But they were arrested and told to pay N100,000 bribe. Why one earth do you need to pay the police a bribe after your car has already been seized.

“You arrest those parked on the road. Someone goes to bail the people arrested. You arrest the person to. That summarizes why Shina Peller was arrested.”

A group of youth in All Progressives Congress APC in Oyo state has frown at the Senator Abiola Ajimobi’s directive that House of Reps Members elect in the state should suppport a member of the National Assembly from Lagos state Hon Femi Gbajabiamila against wish of the state to produce the next speaker. Senator Ajimobi had at a private meeting held at his Oluyole resident with some members elect direct the lawmakers to support Hon Gbajabiamila as the speaker. German Pentecostal evangelist, Reinhard Bonnke who is principally known for his gospel missions throughout Africa is dead aged 79. A post on his official Facebook page explained that he passed away peacefully and was surrounded by his family. “It is with sorrow that the Bonnke Family would like to announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke,” the statement read. “He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on December 7, 2019.
