NAPS Celebrates President Buhari @77. Call To Give Attention To Yearning Of Polytechnic Technical Education.

The National Association of Polytechnic Students, joins President mohammodu Buhari and other well meaning persons in celebration of Buhari's 77th birthday celebration.

The National president Comrade Benedict who commend Buhari for his good work in some sector including the education sector in his four and half years as a president in Nigeria. 

"NAPS president commended the president for his patriotic and unrelenting service to the nation, which according to him, has impacted positively in some sectors of the nation's economy.

The National president comrade Benedict  said president Buhari heart for the betterment of Nigeria is beyond measures and support his anti corruption fight, stating that this will be of benefit to the future generations of Nigeria. 

“Buhari is a man who has a great sense of regard, and a man who genuinely loves the Nigerian people,” He said. 

Comrade Benedict who thanks Buhari for his attention toward the development of education sector in recent times. He further plead to the president to give attention to the yearning of polytechnic and technical education stating that technology which is the bedrock of the nation if been given more attention and supervision it will go a long way toward the rapid growth of the Nation in teams of industrial development and growth in the Nation which have been the target of the President and will help to strengthen the economy growth of the nation which the President is currently working on. 

Comrade Benedict prays that Almighty Allah will strengthen him more in his new age and give him wisdom in handling the affairs on the nation in his new age.

 A total of 14,406 poorest of the poor households across 19 local government areas of Oyo State have been captured to receive N7,500 every month under the World Bank Youth Employment and Social Support Operation (YESSO). State Coordinator, Oyo State Operation Coordinating Unit (SOCU), Mrs Olaide Lasisi, made this known on Wednesday, in Ibadan, at a sensitisation of Chairmen of local government areas in the Community Based Targeting Exercise of the YESSO programme. Noting that the 14,406 households amounted to 58,435 individuals in its register of beneficiaries to collect N7,500, Lasisi said the state coordinating unit had also just identified another set of 14,594 households in the remaining 14 local government areas as potential beneficiaries. Makinde To Appoint Adviser On Labour Matters, Negotiate Minimum Wage With Workers

The Oyo State governor-elect, Engr Seyi Makinde has congratulated the Nigerian Labour Congress in Oyo State on this year’s Labour Day and urged them to protect the interest of their members. In a release signed by his spokesperson, Prince Dotun Oyelade, Makinde said it is pertinent for the labour union and government to engage in constant dialogue in a very transparent and sincere manner to move the state forward at the advent of new administration in the state. He further asked them to discourage members from acts of collusion with desperate politicians who are taking advantage of the transitional period in the state. He reassured the union that his administration will be labour friendly and involve them in the day to day running of the administration by creating the office of a Special Adviser on Labour Matters.
