The House of Reps member representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency, Shina Peller has been released by the Police.

He was released on bail after his case was transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba.

Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, on Tuesday, inaugurated the Board of the Oyo State Agency for the Control of AIDS (SACA), noting that dealing with the scourge of AIDS “is of utmost importance to his administration.” Governor Makinde stated that though there had been some progresses with regards to anti-retroviral medication, abstinence from sex remained the best way to control the spread of AIDS. A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, indicated that the Wife of the Governor, Engr. Tamunominini Makinde, chairs the Board, while Dr. Lanre Abass is the Executive Secretary.
