The House of Reps member representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency, Shina Peller has been released by the Police.

He was released on bail after his case was transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba.

Speakership: Group Disagrees With Ajimobi Over Support For Gbajabiamila

A group of youth in All Progressives Congress APC in Oyo state has frown at the Senator Abiola Ajimobi’s directive that House of Reps Members elect in the state should suppport a member of the National Assembly from Lagos state Hon Femi Gbajabiamila against wish of the state to produce the next speaker. Senator Ajimobi had at a private meeting held at his Oluyole resident with some members elect direct the lawmakers to support Hon Gbajabiamila as the speaker. But in a swift reaction, the group under the aegies of Itesiwaju Oyo said the governor’s directive is not only a bad decision but a further demonstration of his disdian for the growth of internal democracy in the party and the state. SHITTU: Unity Forum Will Retrieve APC From Predators.

     Communications Minister, Adebayo Shittu  Minister of Communication, Mr. Adebayo Shittu, on Saturday said himself and members of the unity forum in the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Oyo State will retrieve the party from predators. Shittu stated this while having a live phone chat on a programme, South West political circuit, on Fresh FM, Ibadan. He said the process to rebuild the party in the state will start soon, after the party’s defeat in the March 9, governorship and house of assembly elections. The minister accused Governor Abiola Ajimobi of foisting the current executives of the party in the state on the party and the people, adding that they are challenging the composition of the party executives in court.
