Ex-Oyo Attorney General Extols State PDP Youth Leader's Virtues, Expresses Grief Over YEMI LikeDat's Death


The former Attorney General of Oyo State, Barrister, Asiwaju Bayo Ojo has described the state's Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) youth leader, Asiwaju Adekola Adeoye as a very passionate, committed and dedicated believer in whatever he believes in and however expressed grief over the sudden death that took away Comrade Yemi Like that at his prime age.

In a release issued in respect of unfortunate accident, personally signed and made available to Naija TODAY News on Monday, December 23, Asiwaju Bayo Ojo described Adeoye as someone who is very passionate, committed and dedicated believer in whatever he believed  in and however expressed grief over Yemi Likethat's death.

While going on the memory lane, Ojo said their paths crossed on facebook where Adeoye was a creator and administrator of a Facebook page.
In his continuation, " I applied to become a member of his page and I was surprised that he accepted my request, notwithstanding the fact that we are always on the opposite side of the divide in our political beliefs" said Ojo.

Ojo who served as Attorney General of the state during Senator Rashidi Ladoja as the governor said Adeoye was a loyal, committed and dedicated member of accord party throughout of the era that the party lasted in the state,adding that during their stay in accord party, the duo fired salvos at each other severally, but never played it rough for once as both were very courteous and decent in their approaches to political issues.

Ojo said,"I once taunted him on his facebook page that if I needed any post for my self or for any other person in accord party, that Senator Ladoja will will consider and grant my request well ahead of any of them who are members of the party".
On Adeoye's defection to PDP, Ojo said when Adeoye ported to PDP for reasons best known to him, Adeoye prosecuted his convictions in his newfound love with the same courage and dignity.

On the unfortunate accident that took the life of Yemi Likethat, Ojo said it was never occurred to him early that Adeoye was in the same vehicle that had the unfortunate accident which took Yemi Likethat's life in his prime age, adding that he was not surprised  because birds of the same feather flock together.Just like Yemi, Adekola too is among the rare specie of professionals in Nigerian political space.
Ojo said that the duo were known to follow and pursue whatever they believe in without any monetary consideration.
"When such lifestyle is a person's way of life,iam not surprised at all that people from all walks of life and also across political divides rose in unison to rally round them"said Ojo.

Ojo wished Adeoye soonest recovery, prayed God to give the deceased an eternal rest and as  well give the bereaved family the fortitude to bear an irreplaceable loss.
