Why Adelabu Should be consider as Minister | By Femi Awogboro



It is almost one month now that President Muhammadu Buhari has dissolved his Ministers having work with the cabinet between 2015 to 2019.

The out gone Ministers have served their best in the repositioning of country  and especially in the fight against corruption.

Now the race for the appointment of the new ministers have begun why permutations and calculations as well as political move on who to be in part of the next Federal executive cabinet especially Ministerial slots is gradually gathering momentum.



No doubt,the Ministerial appointment in the country is  a sensitive one that demand through screening and considerable factors,hence the need for the appointment of competent person as Ministers.


For instance,In Oyo state it is necessary for President Buhari to consider  Governorship candidate of All Progressives congress in Chief  Adebayo Adelabu for the Ministerial position. 

Aside from his humble background, the grandson of late political Icon Alhaji Adegoke Adelabu popularly known as Penkelemesi Bayo Adelabu is a round peg in a round hole.

With his over 20 years experience in private and public sector Bayo Adelabu is one of the  political technocrat with vast knowledge in management and banking sector is expected to be part of President Buhari new minister. 

Although President Buhari has right to choose any reasonable Nigerians irrespective of political, ethnic or culture to be part of his cabinet but it is imperative to consider youth in this new administration for efficiency and advancement of the country.

Without mixing words,the services of first class Graduate of Accounting and former Deputy Governor Central Bank of Nigeria Chief Bayo Adelabu will be needed considering the economic situation of the country

Mr president Nigerians are anxiously waiting for the list of your ministerial appointees and I hope the name of Bayo Adelabu will not be excluded.
