Poly Ibadan Suspend SUG Over Union Crisis.

Management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, has  suspended Student Union Government (SUG) of the Institution indefinitely.

It has also closed down the institution for mid-semester break and asked students to vacate halls of residence.

This was sequel to a protest that erupted in the school on Thursday morning.

The Student Union Sport Director Tobi Oyeniyi was on Wednesday stabbed and others injured during a female tournament at the school sports pavilion.

A release signed by the institution's registrar, Mrs. Modupe Fawale stated that the suspension became necessary as the Student Union body failed to follow and obey the rules guiding its activities on campus.

Fawole reiterated that the police have been invited for smooth vacation of the students from the institution so as to prevent breach of peace.
