The state assembly election petition tribunal has sacked the lawmaker representing Irepo/Olorunsogo state constituency.
It declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in March 9, 2019 election winner.

                      Governor Seyi Makinde  The Nigeria’s Governors Forum (NGF) Secretariat is organising a three-day Induction Programme for newly-elected and returning governors. The programme, according to a statement issued by the NGF Secretariat, will commence from Monday 29th April to 1st May, 2019. Also, a day summit has been scheduled for the wives of the governors as well so as to develop and utilize their platforms to address critical issues affecting their states. Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, on Tuesday, inaugurated the Board of the Oyo State Agency for the Control of AIDS (SACA), noting that dealing with the scourge of AIDS “is of utmost importance to his administration.” Governor Makinde stated that though there had been some progresses with regards to anti-retroviral medication, abstinence from sex remained the best way to control the spread of AIDS. A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, indicated that the Wife of the Governor, Engr.
