Sugar's Death: Sugar's Brother Alleged Ajimobi of Release Killer of His Brother.



An elder brother to the late federal Oyo law maker representing Lagelu/Akinyele federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Olatoye Temitope otherwise know as sugar, Mr Olajide Olatoye has accused governor Abiola Ajimobi for facilitating the release of the killers of his brother.
Olajide made this accusation on Thursday in his speech, during the lying in state for the slained federal law maker, which was held at House of Chief, Agodi, Ibadan.
In his word, Olajide noted that information reaching him was that governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State in conjunction with some members of the Oyo State House of Assembly were facilitating the release of some suspects arrested in connection with the unfortunate assassination incident.
” Governor Abiola Ajimobi should desist from facilitating the release of the killers of my brother, let justice prevailed, Oyo State government should remove hand in the investigation of the incident and allow the perpetrators of the evil face the rawth of the law, been a serving Oyo State House of Assembly member does not means that you are untorchable.” He said
While speaking on behalf of the Olatoye’s family, the younger brother to the deceased, Mr Dotun Olatoye said that despite all the support Olatoye’s family had been recieving from both the federal and state government since the incident happened, the government still find it difficult to find out the killers of his elder brother and made them to wrath of the law.
He pointed out that there is need to value human life because human life is very precious, adding that how will a serving federal law maker be killed without proper investigation and arrest of the perpetrators?
“Sugar was a great icon and the generalissimo of the masses, he has paid all his tributes while on earth, he was a man of peace, even when he lost an election, he remain calm.”
Earlier in his tribute, the speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Olagunju Ojo said that the death of the late lawmaker shows that Oyo State has lost an illustrious son that will not be forgotten.
Olagunju reiterated that the deceased was a monumental and unique while alive, noting that no one ever expected him to died like that.
“In life, it is not how far, but how well, on behalf of the 8th assembly, we wish you eternal life and journey mercy.”
Also speaking at the event was a member of the Oyo State House of Assemby, Hon Segun Olaleye who called on the Olatoye’s family not to take vegeance on anybody, adding that how to take care of the deceased wife and children should be their concern.
“Sugar told me in my dream that no one should take revenge on his behalf, but his wife and children should be well taken care of.”
Olaleye however promised to sponsored two of the deceased children till university level, adding that Oyo State has lost a freedom fighter and a goal getter
